Position Overview:
The Faculty - IT will be responsible for designing and delivering online courses, creating and managing course materials, and assessing student performance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Information Technology, experience with online education platforms, and a passion for teaching and curriculum development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging online lectures and pre-recorded video content for Bachelor’s and Master’s IT programs.
- Create and organize course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and assessments.
- Design and administer tests, quizzes, and other evaluation tools to assess student understanding and progress.
- Provide timely feedback and support to students through online platforms and communication tools.
- Continuously update and improve course content to reflect current industry trends and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure alignment of course objectives with program goals and accreditation standards.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Proven experience teaching IT subjects at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, preferably in an online or hybrid format.
- Strong proficiency with online teaching platforms and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual environment.
- Experience in developing course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with industry trends and incorporate them into course content.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compensation:
Fixed Salary or Per-Class Support (negotiable based on qualifications and experience).
